All because two people fell in love...

We met in February 1989, started dating in May, and got married in September. And Josh came *almost* 11 months later, just in case y'all were wondering. And then no more came. We waited, and waited, and then Lauren decided to make her debut in May 1995 (5 weeks early), and then Kayley 1997, Jacob 1998, Krissy 2001, Lindsey 2004 & Joey 2006. We lived in Texas until 2005, and then we moved to Arkansas, just about 25 miles north of Texarkana, Texas. Fortunately all my children are Texans (and my handsome husband) because Texans are just cool. Wish I was a Texan... but husband had to settle with a California gal, which I think is pretty cool too.

Poor Joey

He's been getting a lot of bad publicity from me saying how he is a constant mess, el distructo, etc... I just wanted you to see that really he is quite calm, and quite cute when he isn't causing a mess somewhere...
Playing with the wooden train set in his room (pink carpet even!):
He loves "reading" the Friend. He can sit for hours, okay maybe 5-10 minutes, just looking at pictures. He especially loves looking at the "real" kid pictures (Friends In The News, etc...)
But, I did have to throw in a couple of messy pictures. This is of my table & floor this morning. You really can't see it, but it's pretty much covered with cereal.
And this is him right after trying to open the bucket of croutons (Josh's graduation gift from Chad's place... LOL!), but he is unsucessful with that (that's another lid on top of the secured lid). Pretty much my kitchen and storage room is a mess too. Why even bother to clean it?
We also discovered this morning that a new dog has joined us. It's a full-blood hound (at least it looks like it... AKA: hunting dog). Very well trained, and no collar. I doubt I'll put an ad in the paper because it cost so much, but we've already fed her this morning, and it chowed down. I figured if she stays for a while and we feed it, at least it's been taken care of. Joey about freaked out when it popped her head at the window, and he wasn't expecting it. We will be calling her Ellie until she leaves, if at all.
