All because two people fell in love...

We met in February 1989, started dating in May, and got married in September. And Josh came *almost* 11 months later, just in case y'all were wondering. And then no more came. We waited, and waited, and then Lauren decided to make her debut in May 1995 (5 weeks early), and then Kayley 1997, Jacob 1998, Krissy 2001, Lindsey 2004 & Joey 2006. We lived in Texas until 2005, and then we moved to Arkansas, just about 25 miles north of Texarkana, Texas. Fortunately all my children are Texans (and my handsome husband) because Texans are just cool. Wish I was a Texan... but husband had to settle with a California gal, which I think is pretty cool too.

Activity Days here I come!

My mother-in-law is having knee surgery on Tuesday. She is the Activity Days leader in our ward. Kayley & Jacob love her! Reason why Jacob is going is because right now there isn't an active Cub Scout group in our ward because Jacob is the only boy in this age range that is active. He is starting a Cub Scout group in Ashdown this week. Anyway, so because my mother-in-law is not going to be able to do this for a few months, I told her I would do this for her. I am doing her Sunday class too. We do Activity Days on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays. This week it's the 3rd, so since it's close to Conference time, I am doing something on Following the Prophet. I got Bro. Hanson (see post below) to be King Benjamin for a few minutes at the beginning. I hope the kids enjoy it. I am hoping that all 11 kids will show, but I feel only 4-5 will actually come.

Past few weeks I have been teaching the 12-13 yr olds Sunday School class. I have really enjoyed it. I think it would be fun to teach that group all the time. I don't mind Primary... I just hate sitting in Sharing Time (always have!), and thru the Primary Program.
